Madeli Viljoen (28) is currently enrolled as an international Master student in the Sculpture & Installation division at PXL-MAD University in Hasselt, Belgium.

After completing her 4-year Bachelor in Jewellery design & Manufacturing at the Tshwane University of Technology in her hometown Pretoria, South Africa, she started her postgraduate studies in Belgium. In July 2020 Viljoen graduated cum laude with a Master of Visual Arts degree, specialising in Object & Jewellery at PXL-MAD University. 

Since 2020 Viljoen has formed a collectible design studio STUDIO KEEP with Belgian artist Ilse Van Roy, making blown glass objects together.

She also makes regular sculptural pieces for exhibitions and has her work represented by international galleries. 

Furthermore Viljoen has brought out a few designer jewellery ranges and takes on custom jewellery or sculptural design requests.
